Sunday in Berlin
Kategori: Vardag
Most days in Berlin we stayed a bit too long in our lovely apt. But we were on vacation, so it is not like we haad to go out.

On our way!

We went to Mauerpark! This place was the cosiest hipster market I have seen. I felt quite at home.

Pancake! I could find almost anything vegan, and since I like everything, it was hard to choose. This is problem I have missed, for sure.

After I bought a record, a bracelet and the recently mentioned yummy pancake, the basketball game going on a stone's throw away enticed.

Deeply content.

A nice lady took our picture!

Over to something amazing. This is something hard to explain with words. And pictures. Hundreds of people are sitting, standing, dancing around a stone plattform where there is an umbrella, a couple of bikes, a computor, speakers and a microphone. People from the crowd volunteer for karaoke and gives everybody a show. This is the best karaoke I have seen! This is nothing like a crowded pub in Gümbet where a drunk brittish couple are squalling "Va-a-larieee". Not that they didn't do Valarie in Mauerpark, just that it was a masterpiece. Maybe it was my mood and the Berlin atmosphere, but nevertheless, go there for yourself. Hell, sing a piece. I know I wanted to.

This woman rocked it.

Eventually it ended and people sat down to have a beer, some people started a yam and a crowd formed around them. Gökhan and I danced for a while and then we went to get beer from a close by store and we found a cider he got super excited about. I don't want alcohol, but sometimes I can miss having a drink that makes me go "wooow, yeeey, this is so taasty". Oh, actually coffee does that, never mind.

We went to sit in the grass with our drinks and oreos. The sun set completely and the park went dark as I sang along to Håkan songs played with my crappy phones speakers. There is something amazing in the feeling of being totally free and safe, having someone you love (not that he knew it yet) pulling their fingers through your hair as you're falling asleep. This was my favorite moment of this trip.
